Designed, developed, optimized, and deployed a WordPress responsive website. Features include an event calendar and blog.
After seeing my work for the Birmingham Sunrise Rotary Club, the Central Alabama Information Systems Security Association contacted me to design and develop a new website and design and create a logo for their organization. They had already purchased hosting through WordPress.com, so the site was developed on the platform.
I first sketched some ideas for their new logo in Adobe Illustrator, combining the general ISSA logo with an outline of Alabama. The team at CAISSA decided on which design to go with, and I put the final touches on the logo in place.
For the website, I designed a fresh, dark look and feel to the site, keeping with the theme of cybersecurity. I then developed the pages to provide general information about the club and a way for prospective members to inquire about joining. In addition, I developed an event calendar, blog, and sponsors list.
Both the site and logo received excellent feedback from CAISSA team.
